**About us**

Camden is listening to everyone, including you.

We’re giving a platform to people inside and outside our community. Because we’re not just home to the UK’s fast-growing economy. We’re home to the most important conversations happening today. And we’re making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind. **Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all.**

**The role**

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Mental Health, Autism and Learning Disability commissioning team and transform the system and services to deliver better outcomes for residents.

Working in this role you will be a key member of the Adult Social Care senior management team and provide vibrant, authentic leadership across the council as well as with our health colleagues and provider partners. With your committed and experienced team of commissioners, you will develop commissioning frameworks, systems and processes for the directorate and our wider partnerships. You will represent the department at strategic meetings both internally and externally, including at regional and national level. This is a matrix style role, and your portfolio will be flexible and assigned based on the strategic objectives of the adult social care directorate.

You will have the ability to manage a complex, sizeable portfolio budget alongside health partners, and ensure the effective use of resources and delivery of savings targets where applicable.

You will have the ability to analyse and interpret complex data and facts and use this knowledge creatively to consider commissioning options and evidence decision making.

**Working for Camden**

We’re ready to welcome your ideas, your views, and your rebellious spirit. **Help us redefine how we’re supporting people, and we’ll redefine what a career can be.**

If that sounds good to you, we’d love to talk.
