Aviva’s Governance Team provide supporting services to the Aviva Master Trust (AMT) Trustee, including Board and Sub-Committees. We have an opportunity for a Trustee Secretary to join our team This is a great job for someone with an understanding of the key governance controls critical to the Master Trust, with a focus on quality and timeliness

A bit about the job:
As the Trustee Secretariat you will manage the oversight of minutes, actions and record keeping, as well as providing governance advice regarding pension scheme requirements to our Trustee Directors. You will work closely with the AMT Governance Team, the outsourced secretarial provider and other AMT outsourced service providers, play a key leadership role in the preparation of AMT meetings and meeting packs. You will also engage regularly with the Trustee, the Head of the Master Trust, the Strategist, and other internal and external parties with regular and ad hoc roles supporting the Trust - ensuring the right people are communicated at the right time to support decision making and statutory deadlines.

Maintaining up to date knowledge of relevant governance, regulatory issues and best practice whilst leading on core documentation relating to actions, conflicts, fit and proper and TKU will be a priority in this role. The role will involve risk awareness and an understanding of the AMT risk framework, register and the role you play in mitigating relevant risks.

- Ability to prioritize workload and remain calm under pressure

- National salary circa £65,000 London salary circa £75,000 depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications
