Head of Finance

We have an exciting new opportunity to join the existing Finance Team within NHS Golden Jubilee as the Head of Finance - Financial Accounting,
You will be responsible for full line management of a department of circa 5 wte financial accounting staff.
You will be a qualified accountant with a recognised Consultative Committee of Accounting Bodies (CCAB), with demonstrable experience in a Senior Finance role and expert in the delivery of a quality finance service with a broad range of practical experience in the provision of a modern financial management service, including financial accounting, performance management, project management and strategic financial planning and staff management.
Experience of working within a complex organisation with demonstrable experience in a financial accounting role together with knowledge and understanding of national health policy and the impact on financial planning and control are essential.
In addition, excellent communication and presentation skills together with the ability to influence, at a senior level are also key requirements.
