We’re looking for a Care and Support Apprentice to join our team at Ryde Village This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week (across 7 days to include evenings and weekends). The Apprenticeship course will run for 18 months.
As the Care and Support Apprentice, you’ll be working alongside a skilled team of Care and Support Workers where you’ll learn all about our services which we deliver to our residents (which may include providing intimate personal care), promoting independence, choice and dignity. You’ll find out all about the necessary legislation, policies/procedures and Care Quality Commission regulations (CQC) that comes with this line of work.
Of course, no experience is necessary as we will provide you with thorough training throughout the entire Apprenticeship which will enable you to build on your knowledge and skills to be successful in this role. Once you’ve obtained your NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care at the end of this Apprenticeship, we’d love for you to continue working for us and take advantage of our fantastic career progression opportunities
You’ll need to have GCSE level (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade 9 - 5) and be willing to attend college on a weekly basis throughout the duration of the Apprenticeship.
