As the Head of Commercial, you will be leading the HPC contract management for SPS, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure business compliance and efficiency.

The Head of Commercial role sits within the Senior Leadership Team of SPS so has a direct impact on the strategic direction of the business - both for the HPC project and future business growth.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop contract and supplier relationships while working on innovation and strategy to support business development and growth.

You will lead a team of commercially minded individuals to continue to grow the success of the commercial department.

Qualifications/ Skills:
Essential:
Relevant experience in a previous role

Proven experience of collaborative working and demonstrably achieving challenging targets

Good negotiating, influencing and communication skills to command professional respect at all levels

Experience of successful performance in a dynamic and challenging environment

Good commercial skills and ability to make sound decisions on matters of financial value

Desirable:
Effective commercial / contract management skills are desirable, with clear knowledge of best practice contract methodologies

Commercial experience and knowledge of NEC3 and CEMAR

SPS has been awarded the whole passenger transport contract for the Hinkley Point C project until mid-2027. We take around 10,000 clients to and from the site every day, working 24/7 to ensure that construction remains on schedule.

This standard is designed to provide a level of assurance as to the honesty, integrity and values of individuals who are required to work at a Nuclear Licenced Site, or who may have access to sensitive nuclear information.
