Senior Enquiry Specialist

**At Whittlebury Park we are looking for a Senior Enquiry Specialist to head up our dedicated in-house enquiries team. Our events cover everything from conferences and exhibitions, to hen parties and private dinners**
Nestled in hundreds of acres of ancient parkland, Whittlebury offers an award-winning four-star hotel, conference, and training centre. Our facilities include our 3AA Rosette winning Murray’s fine dining restaurant, luxurious spa and 36-hole championship golf course.
**Salary**:£26,000.00 to £28,000.00
**What will you do?**
**As our Senior Enquiry Specialist, you will**:
- Ensure that all sales enquiries are dealt with promptly, in efficient and friendly manner, identifying opportunities to maximise sales
- Meet with customers for site visits, offering in-depth knowledge of our facilities and offerings
- Develop a good relationship with clients, whether they are returning to Whittlebury for repeat business or proactively communicating with new provisional bookings by phone
- Manage the central sales inbox, delegating workload and managing team tasks
- Be experienced in diary management, contributing to key decisions in conjunction with the C&E manager
- Understand our competitors and liaise with external providers to receive quotes on behalf of clients for a wide variety of both indoor and outdoor activities, entertainment and transport.
- Perform checks on bookings daily to ensure all information given by the team is correct, paying excellent attention to detail to ensure all information is accurately entered into the system
- This list of duties cannot be exhaustive due to the requirements of the hotel industry. Therefore, you may be required from time to time to carry out reasonable tasks as requested by management._
