Our client is an Engineering company based in the Liverpool area and they require a Manual Turner to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role is mainly manual turning but if you have any experience on the other manual machines that would be an advantage.

The role requires the use of 3 machines:

- 1. Colchester Lathe

2. Manual Miller - Only for basic machining such as flats and keyway slots.

3. Horizontal Borer - Only for basic boring.

You will be mainly working on small batch parts and most of the time you will be required to measure worn or broken parts to produce new parts to high tolerance taking into consideration bearing tolerances, machined threads etc.

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm.

You will also be required at times to be flexible in hours and work some overtime when necessary.

The hourly pay rate is between £15.00 - 16.50 with regular overtime.
