Building Maintenance Technician

**Building Maintenance Technician**
**Luton**
**£26k - £30k**
If you prefer to be on the tools instead of on the road, working as part of a team and getting home every night this is the Maintenance Technician job for you
The role itself is fairly straightforward, and as an experienced Maintenance Technician won't be anything you've not dealt with before across building fabric and basic plumbing works. Day-to-day you'll be running PPMs dealing with reactive jobs; maintainingthe site's compliance and lending a hand with to wider facilities projects to add some variety.
The main difference here is that because it's site-based you'll be able to invest long-term in the equipment and take real pride in your work. You'll be working in a small multi-skilled team and overseeing the work of contractors.
This is a shift based position but only Monday and Friday; 6am - 10pm so you'll get home every night and keep weekends free.
We would need you to have a background in commercial building maintenance, particularly building fabric like carpentry, and a good working knowledge of health and safety.
Working on a client site for a nationwide facilities supplier you get the best of both worlds - the camaraderie of a close-knit team environment in a single workplace with the support, training and opportunities brought by large organisation.
