Part-time Sports Centre Receptionist

**Job purpose**

Based in the Sports Centre, the Receptionist provides a welcoming and efficient front of house service to callers and visitors to this part of the School. To this end, the Receptionist assists with administrative tasks related to the smooth running of the main OSEL office (Oakham School Enterprises Ltd).

**Reporting**:

- To the Sports Facilities Duty Manager, Duty Supervisors and Contracts Supervisor

Job Details

**Reception Duties**
- Greet visitors, inform of their arrival and direct them to their required location.
- Deal promptly and politely with all enquiries.
- Take receipt of Recorded Delivery and other post, forwarding as required.
- Take responsibility for general upkeep of the entrance and reception areas.
- Liaise with the Duty Supervisors, Sports Facilities Duty Manager and Commercial & Sports Facilities Manager to ensure the main reception and entrance foyer is kept tidy at all times.

**General Duties**
- Take payments for Swim School, Leisure Club and other OSEL activities.
- Ensure all paperwork for OSEL activities are up to date - new memberships, class transfers, new enquiries are followed up and registers are up to date.
- Badges and certificates issued to members.
- Stock checks carried out for merchandise and swim school badges/ hats as required.
- School and OSEL bookings added to the school booking system on a termly basis.
- School bookings added to scuba system and resource booking. Cross reference these bookings against each other and red book entries to minimise chance of double bookings.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 45 weeks

**Salary**: £11.10 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 6 per week
