Julia’s House is not a typical children’s hospice. We provide practical and emotional support for families caring for a child with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition, providing frequent and regular support in their own homes, in the community or at our hospices.
Ideally we are looking for someone who has experience of working in a healthcare environment and who is familiar with infection control procedures. Generally the hours will be worked over across evenings, weekends and bank holidays, when our service to the families dictate the need.
If you have a calm and helpful manner; are adaptable and able to work with sensitivity and have a genuine passion to see Julia’s House succeed, then this could be the role for you.
