**2nd Line IT Support Technician**
**Location**: Newcastle, UK
**Salary**: £24,000 - £28,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a **2nd Line IT Support Technician** to join our Managed Service Provider team.
You will work collaboratively with our 1st Line Support team, analysing and diagnosing technical problems and ensuring that all customer queries are resolved in a professional manner. You will also be required to carry out system upgrades, patches and fixesas necessary.
In order to be considered for this role, you must have the following skills and experience:

- Proven experience in a 2nd Line IT Support role
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server systems
- Knowledge of Windows Desktop operating systems
- Knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
- Experience of virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines
- Knowledge of Office 365
- Knowledge of backup solutions
