4Recruitment Services are seeking to recruit a Safeguarding and Quality Officer to support our client based in Warrington. We have both a full time, and part time role available with the following shifts:
1 x Full Time - Hybrid - work from home 2 days a week

1 x Part Time - 22.2 hours across 4 days, work from home 1 day a week

**We are looking for someone with a relevant nursing/ social care qualification, a good understanding of legislation and regulations and experience of working in a social care or health setting with adults and/or older people. Experience of safeguarding,multi-agency working and working as part of a team are also essential. Commitment to providing a quality service is expected and new ideas for improvements are welcomed.**

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**:

- To work within duties for adults with care and support, leading on investigating and addressing improvement actions issues within care provision arising from safeguarding and care quality concerns.
- Working in partnership with adults who use services, their advocates and carers, care providers and other key partners to deliver a targeted improvement programme utilising a range of support and development opportunities.
- Advise, support and provide constructive and effective challenge to service provider’s regarding their regulatory and contractual requirement.
- Assess and manage areas of risk, need and service provision. Escalate risks appropriately in order that appropriate regulatory, contractual or safeguarding processes are activated.
- Support the development of a clear assurance framework for effective investigation of Safeguarding and Care Quality concerns and S42 enquiries. Support the effective implementation of the councils safeguarding and care quality policies and procedures, ensuringMSP is central.
- Contribute to a team to support continuous development and operational effectiveness.
- The nature of this post is not always predictable and will require the post holder to work flexibly and outside of normal working hours to meet unplanned service requirements.
- Ability to travel inside and outside of the Borough.
- To maintain registration and compliance with the relevant professional regulator (e.g SWE)
- To comply with all Health and Safety requirements in the performance of all duties
- To carry out all duties with due regards to confidentiality and data protection
- To undertake any other duties as may be allocated from time to time, which are deemed to be commensurate with the designation and grading of the post.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Experience of working in a social care or health setting with adults and/or older people
- Experience of assessing and support planning for adults with complex support care and
- support needs
- Experience of person-centred assessments and self-directed support and risk management
- Experience of safeguarding adult’s work
- Experience of working in or with care provision to deliver personalised care
- Experience of working with adults with a range of needs e.g., learning disability, physical
- disability, mental health
- Experience of working autonomously and under pressure
- Experience of working as part of a team
- Experience of multi-agency working
- Flexible, innovative approach and good time keeping
- Full and current driving licence
- Ability to carry out visits to service users homes and other community venues
- Enhanced DBS clearance
- Relevant health/ social care qualification e.g. RGN, CSS CQSW Dip SW or SW degree
- Registered with relevant professional body registration. HCPC or NMC
- Good understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, guidance and frameworks in relatio to the specific service delivery areas of Adult Social care
- Willingness to undertake additional post qualifying training
