**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We have the exciting, brand-new opportunity to join this faced-paced, growing company as Assistant Buyer.

As our Assistant Buyer, you will be actively assisting the development of the seasonal range plans. You will support our Buyer in all areas, including sales tracking and analysis, using your excellent excel skills and key eye for detail. This role will make an impact by supporting in building a balanced, commercial, and sufficiently innovative product ranges for all distribution channels. It’s important you are super organized, using this skill to ensure all administration tasks are completed under the guidance of the Buyer whilst meeting deadlines and targets.

You will be based from our Head Office in Banbury, Oxfordshire, but will be able to work from home twice a week.

**HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE**
- Supporting the Buyer in option planning alongside merchandising team, ensuring the range is delivered to plan in collaboration with design.
- Taking on responsibility for your own categories under the guidance of the Buyer, delivering to plan alongside design and merchandising teams.
- Assisting the Buyer in price architecture and setting RRP’s with the merchandising team.
- Ensuring critical dates are met and product is approved for Mass Production alongside Buying and Design departments.
- Demonstrating market awareness and flare for product with a keen eye for emerging trends and on brand product.
- Working closely with the Buyer and design team to ensure a commercial and trend focused collection inline with brand vision is bought to market.
- Presenting products during range reviews alongside design to wider business teams including wholesale and marketing teams.
- Liaising with PR, Marketing, Web, Visual Merchandising and Retail Operations teams to ensure that sales are maximized, and the department reaches its full potential.
- Building strong working relationships with garment techs, QC and compliance to ensure business standards are followed ensuring good working relationships with suppliers so that any issues can be managing effectively.
- Building excellent relationships with the far east supply base, so that issues such as cost, quality and standards can be managed.
- Building strong relationships with B2B understanding both B2B and B2C platforms and assist in ensuring product meets both needs.

**THE TALENT YOU'LL BRING**
- Currently working at an Assistant Buyer level with 3+ years of experience within a buying department
- Strong organizational & problem solving skills, with attention to detail and initiative
- Detail orientated, organized and able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Well organized and process minded.
- You are someone who excludes positivity, possesses a can-do attitude and ability to persevere through challenges and set backs.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word/ Excel/ Outlook.
- Highly Organized and keen eye for detail.
