We are currently working with a thriving logistics business based in the Pontefract area who have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, operationally minded Management Accountant to join their team as a result of their continued success & growth. Thiswill be a varied, fast paced role, predominantly focusing on management accounts, balance sheet and cashflow forecast.
Duties & Responsibilities Management Accountant will include:
- Production of monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis
- Full Balance sheet reconciliations
- Lead on the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Ad hoc financial reporting to assist with the day to day running of the business
- Assist with VAT returns
- Update cashflow position and forecast balances for each legal entity
- Manage cash movements as required
To be successful for this role you MUST have the following attributes:
- Part qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years' experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- You will be flexible and self-motivated with a high level of organization
- Experienced working in a fast pace, hands on environment
- Proactive "can-do" attitude
- Knowledge of Sage 200 is preferred but not essential
