We are delighted to be supporting our client, a large, well-established, and financially secure manufacturing focused organisation, in recruiting a full time Temporary
- Administrator (Purchasing).

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Produce a monthly material report, highlighting to the purchasing department areas of concern.
- Produce a monthly report to analyse cost changes to materials, calculate the cost changes on the most significant items and adjust the system according to agreed process.
- Analyse selected invoice price queries, investigate, and liaise for payment or query with the supplier.
- Update monthly inter-company price list agreements and agreed price list changes received from external suppliers.
- In conjunction with the quality assurance department, initiate the approval of new materials, suppliers, and administer post approval item system setup.
- Communicate with other departments on centrally purchased materials and items and changes to the master data held on materials, suppliers, and manufacturers.
- Send out requests for information to suppliers and assist in the analysis of vendor offers.
- Raise purchase agreements to ensure coverage to meet needs highlighted from the monthly raw material needs plan and ad-hoc requests from material planning.
- Assist in the maintenance of agreements to enable material planners to create their purchase orders to meet the requirements of production.
- Communicate with selected suppliers to provide material forecasts and to build and maintain good working relationships.
- Assist in the management of tender requests for medium / long term customer contracts.
- Contacting suppliers to establish expected costs for locally purchased items and completion of the tender cost sheet. Ensuring availability and price stability over the contract period.
- Support the purchasing manager in his role.
**Required Skills**:
- A detailed and methodical approach with excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously.
- To work accurately and to deadlines.
- Knowledge of procurement is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to prioritise workloads.
- Power BI and ERP experience is advantageous but not essential.
