**Salary**: £16 to £18 per hour

**Schedule**: 2 to 4 hours, 3 to 4 days per week

We are currently seeking a dedicated Care Companion to join our team in the Leighton Buzzard area. In this role, you will provide essential support and companionship to individuals in need, enriching their lives with empathy, understanding, and care.

**Responsibilities**:

- Engage in meaningful conversations and activities with clients, promoting social interaction and emotional well-being.
- Assist with light household tasks, such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and running errands.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and uplifting environment.
- Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and social events, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Maintain open communication with clients and their families, addressing any concerns or needs promptly and effectively.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in caregiving, eldercare, or a related field preferred.
- Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable).
