**Job Title: Care Companion**

**Location**: Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire

**Job Type**: Part-Time, with potential for increased hours

**Introduction**:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Companion to join our team in Leighton Buzzard. Initially, the role involves 1-hour visits three times a week, with the opportunity to quickly increase to 2-4 hour visits as needed. This position is ideal for individuals who have a genuine passion for helping others and can provide companionship and support to our clients in their own homes.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Companionship**:

- Provide friendly and engaging conversation.
- Assist with hobbies, activities, and outings.
- Offer emotional support and a listening ear.
- **Daily Living Assistance**:

- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up and laundry.
- Help with meal preparation and planning.
- Accompany clients on walks or to appointments if needed.
- **Personal Care**:

- Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing and dressing if required.
- Help with medication reminders.
- **Monitoring**:

- Observe and report any changes in the client's condition.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the client at all times.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar role or relevant field is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, patient, and compassionate nature.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic cooking and housekeeping skills.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is preferred but not essential.

**Hours**:

- Initially, 1-hour visits, three times a week.
- Potential to increase to 2-4 hour visits based on the client's needs.

- £25 per hour
