Location: Birmingham, Ward End
Duration: Full time ongoing
**Salary**: Competitive DOE
**The School/role**:
We are currently looking for an experienced attendance administrator for a primary school in Birmingham on a full-time basis initially until the end of the academic year with view to coming back for the next in September. The school are looking for an excellent administrator who can hit the ground running and support an already brilliant administrative team.
implementation of agreed strategies. Update school records, analyse attendance data and provide reports to senior managers and other professionals. Disseminate information, both internally and externally, in a timely fashion. Meet with school staff, pupils and parents to establish the reasons for non attendance/poor punctuality and agree a plan
with appropriate strategies and timescales to tackle the issues. Make contact with the families in response to allocated referrals through home visits and/or meetings in school.
As this role centres around the safety and well being of the children liaison with the Education Welfare Officer is incredibly important. In order to carry these meetings out successfully you will need to be fully aware of and carry out all work in line with Child Protection /Safeguarding Procedures.
A new enhanced DBS will be needed for this role or a subscription to the DBS update service.
**Requirements**:
- Relevant time spent in an office position.
- Strong understanding of the SIMs system
- Level 1 safeguarding certificate
- Relevant school based references
- Valid Photo ID - Driving Licence or passport
- Full DBS - on the update service
