Are you a motivated technology enthusiast looking for a rewarding and hands-on work experience? Look no further We are currently seeking dynamic individuals to join our team and embark on an exciting journey with us.

ComputerXplorers Essex South are searching for top-quality people to lead our fun, inspirational technology clubs and workshops. We require instructors in all areas (postcode: SS0 - SS17) of south Essex due to increasing demand from schools for our services.

Our computing classes encourage collaboration and problem-solving, celebrating each child’s achievement while building self-confidence. Our passion for technology has already inspired thousands of children across the UK. With fun-packed sessions on everything from coding, robotics and physical computing to website and App design, creative 3D animation and digital arts, there is always something to spark each child’s creativity.

We want you to deliver our educational technology programme in after school clubs and STEM workshops to show children a wide range of technology. No formal teaching qualification is required. We will give you all the training and provide you with detailed lesson plans. Progression opportunities may exist to work through the school day, covering teachers' planning, preparation and assessment (PPA) time or leading our workshops.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct engaging and interactive technology classes for young children (age range: 5-11).
- Introduce fundamental technology concepts through fun and interactive activities.
- Facilitate hands-on learning experiences using age-appropriate digital tools and platforms.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment to encourage creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure their development.

**Requirements**:

- Strong understanding of technology concepts, preferably with experience in computing languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Scratch, or Blockly.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex ideas in a simplified manner.
- Enthusiasm for working with young children and a desire to inspire them through technology education.
- Patience, adaptability, and the ability to create a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.
- Ability to think independently, solve problems, and adapt to new challenges.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a keen desire to learn and grow.
- You may have to bring equipment to schools, therefore having your own transport is absolutely essential.

Pay: £14.00-£20.00 per hour
