**Job Title**:Senior Credit Controller

**Hours**:35 per week

**Location**:Croydon/Hybrid

**Salary**:£35,000

United Response are recruiting for a Senior Credit Controller to join our Sales Ledger team.

This forms part of the wider finance department, based within our Head Office in Croydon.

**Key Purpose of the role**:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced credit controller with at least minimum of five years’ experience, must have excel skills to be able to use VLOOKUP, pivots etc; and industry knowledge will be an advantage.

The post holder will also be responsible for the timely collection of outstanding payments of a Ledger that consists of high and low value accounts within the organisation and will be responsible for maintaining a consistently high level of customer service both internally, externally and support credit control Team Leader on all aspects of the role

**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and competencies:

- Sound knowledge of Credit Control and understanding the relationship of activity to management of risk such as cash flow maintenance and relevant areas of financial reporting.
- Quick learner of United Response processes to be able to achieve set targets.
- Ability to assimilate information and to define issues quickly so they can be communicated clearly to others within the team and externally.
- Presents complex information effectively and concisely using different communication media, tailoring approach to the knowledge of the audience.
- Able to prioritise effectively and manage time to ensure work is completed within deadlines and momentum of debt collection is maintained.
- Pro-actively seeks solutions to problems, including the need to work constructively with the Billing Analyst and Credit Control Team leader to resolve workload issues.
- Intermediate/advanced excel and Credit Control experience are both essential.
