Deva Recruitment are looking for a Transport Planner for a Well known Transport Company in the B98 area.

Flexitime from 7/8am starts

Temp to Perm after 8 weeks

Salary £14ph Inclusive of Holiday Pay whilst with the agency Salary once completed £27K to 31K

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and coordinate transportation routes for efficient delivery of goods
- Analyze shipment requirements and determine appropriate modes of transportation
- Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise
- Optimize transportation costs while maintaining high service levels
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and documentation

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a transport planner or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices
- Proficient in using transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
