**Demand Planner - £24000 - £28000 + Bonus - Redditch, Worcestershire**

An opportunity has become available to join a customer focused supply chain / demand planning / logistics team. This company is a high-profile business, which is renowned for its product range and household name.

This is a fast-paced role with a mixture of data manipulation analytical tasks using Excel as well as providing first class customer services.

**On a day-to-day basis -**
- Looking at customer order demand forecasts, working out priority orders
- Analyse large quantities of pallets for orders, building pallet loads and volume truck capacity.
- Resolve problems for a variety of issues including non-delivery, delivery refusal due to incorrect deliveries, labels, date etc or missing stock and export issues.
- Manage weekly order consumption tracker, checking what customers have actually taken against agreed commitment to order with National Account Managers. Communicate internally with customers cut off dates and booking in trucks.
- Booking in transport with external hauliers or direct with customer hauliers. Booking in transport slots with the correct loads.
- Working with set of specific retail customers, both UK and export customers. (Training will be given for documentation for export customers)
- Be proactive, spot anomalies within customer data and pre-empt problems before they happen.
- Dealing with a number of internal and external customer contacts, including supply, inbound teams, transport teams, National Account Managers, fulfilment teams
- Working to performance KPIs always striving to maximise team and individual performance
- Supply chain, demand planning, logistics experience ideal
- Customer focused with strong communication skills
- Stock control experience advantageous
- Experience of building loads for customer order onto pallets and trucks ideal
- Solid data analysis and manipulation skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel, vlook ups, pivot tables, ability to work with large amounts of data, manipulate it and communicate findings
- NetSuite would be a distinct advantage, however training will be given
- Need to be very data conscious when putting in orders so the figures are correct.
- Attention to detail with data
