Gallagher Re are seeking to recruit a dynamic and proactive individual to join our Latin America and Caribbean Service Team in a Junior Broker role in London. In this new opportunity you will be helping insurance companies to handle their risks; navigating the landscape, delivering performance, achieving goals and protecting reputation.

You would be part of our London Broking Team, working to build and maintain client relationships, prospecting, and the placement process across our Latin American portfolio.

**Your Role**:

- Working as a team to become actively engaged in managing existing clients and driving the production process for new business
- Providing technical and commercial risk and reinsurance analysis to clients
- Maintaining strong client and reinsurer relationships
- Negotiate renewals and amendments with reinsurers
- Prepare and present various reports to business partners
- Drafting of contracts and endorsements
- Engagement with our Ipswich Placement Support Team on market security information on carriers and acquiring sanctions approval where touch points exist
- Adherence to standard internal processes, policies and procedures, and other external regulatory requirements, as well as Compliance with legal requirements, industry regulations, organisational policies and Gallagher Re standard process and professional codes

**Your Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications**:

- High level of accuracy and attention to details
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- An awareness of the sales and negotiation process
- The ability to prioritise, work to and meet deadlines
- Initiative and an eagerness to drive projects to a successful conclusion
- Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently
- Fluency in both Spanish and English
- Eligible to work in the UK.
