Pulse Electrix Ltd has a great opportunity for an experienced M&E Estimator who has worked within the domestic or commercial sectors, such as new build developments, office-to-residential conversions, apartment schemes, or shop refits. This is a pivotal role in our aim to expand our team.

**Location**:
The role is currently based in our office in Rossendale BB4 9JZ. However, we are looking to relocate towards Bury/Oldham as soon as possible. The role will require attending meetings and networking events with our Business Development Manager to assist in winning tenders submitted and building relationships with new and existing clients.

Key Activities:

- Prepare and compile tenders for submission to clients using our formatted Excel documents.
- Receive and action client enquiries related to tenders.
- Update our CRM system we currently use a system called Zoho, review the scope of works and action promptly.
- Prepare Bills of Quantity from drawing take-offs (where required) and raise technical queries with the client, where appropriate and work with our business development manager.
- Liaise with the director to assess labour and fleet resource requirements and costs using up-to-date rates. Agree on productivity and work duration, including preliminary items.
- Update CRM records on submission and track progress with clients. Ensure the director and business development manager is up to date.
- Assist gathering the material list if accepted on the tenders and submit to our wholsalers to increase company profits.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

- Previous experience in an estimating role within the domestic or commercial sectors.
- Preferably from an Electrical Engineering background with engineering qualifications (18th editions, Level 3 NVQ etc.); other qualifications may be considered.
- Experience with a wide range of tender types/sizes in the domestic and commercial sectors.
- Experience supporting multiple tenders simultaneously.
- Ability to identify and price risks and opportunities.
- Excellent relationship-building skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Comfortable visiting sites.
