**Location: Ringwood**
**Salary: £30k - £35k per annum**
**Hours: 9:30am - 3pm**
**Contract: 0.6 FTE at a salary of £30k - £35k (FTE £53k - £58k)**
Our client is on the hunt for a part-time, qualified management accountant to support business growth and
the implementation of new accounting software and its associated processes across the business. Our client has grown quickly with new products and eCommerce functionality being introduced in the last year. The recruitment of this post is to enable continuedrapid growth and support the Chief Executive and the Board to manage that growth effectively.
**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Budgeting and reforecasting, supporting teams to predict income and expenditure and make
sound financial decisions.
- Support the company’s transition to and implementation of a new accounting system.
- Production of management accounting information to support the CEO in all elements of
decision making.
- Support the company to offer product level financial data to more effectively track P/L, sales
and growth.
- Overseeing internal bookkeeping, payment, and accounting processes, and improve these
systems where necessary.
- Manage the Accounts Administrator, ensuring appropriate training if applicable.
- Preparation of year end accounts and management of the relationship with the external
auditors working closely with relevant team members to ensure a clean audit report timely
and accurate filing.
- Familiarity with online payment systems, Stripe and WooCommerce.
- Production of monthly payroll processing and submissions to HMRC and pension providers.
- Manage partial exemption VAT processes including submissions to HMRC.
- Attendance at Board meetings to present financial results to the Board.
- Managing Finance committees, preparation of agenda and supporting papers.
- Manage banking relationships and manage cashflow forecasting.
- Manage Fixed Asset reporting, maintain fixed asset register.
- Review organisation’s spending patterns and ensure best value for money is achieved and
manage supplier relationships.
- Maintain current policies on internal controls for example risk management, reserves policy
and property strategy.
- Support the Chair and CEO with any other assistance required.
**PERSON SPECIFICATION**
- CIMA qualified or other relevant accounting qualification with post qualification experience.
- Proven experience at senior leadership level including project management and supervision
of support staff.
- Experience of Partial Exemption VAT calculations and managing the relationship with HMRC.
- Experience of developing KPI reporting to measure business performance.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment in a dynamic and agile business.
- Knowledge of education sector desirable but not necessary
