Head of Finance

A Head of Finance is being recruited exclusively by Bond Williams Accounting and Finance for a growing entrepreneurial business based in Ringwood.
Reporting to the CEO and part of a small senior management team, you would oversee a small finance team of 3 and have responsibility for all financial aspects of the business including:

- Management of payroll, costing and transactional matters including accounts payable/receivable, credit control, purchasing decisions and investments
- Overseeing and assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of business plans, budgets and forecasts
- Cash flow management
- Risk management
- Review and analysis of revenue streams, underlying costs and efficiencies to maximise profitability, providing recommendations and guidance to support the business plan
- Analysing plans and new business opportunities for growth with the senior management team
- Liaising with external accountants and HMRC to ensure legal and regulatory obligations are met
A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) is being sought in order to offer the depth of experience required although someone close to qualification with the appropriate experience may be considered. Knowledge of Sage/Sage Payroll and experience of ERP systemuseful. Experience in manufacturing would be an advantage but is not essential and someone moving from practice to industry would also be considered.
