We are Allenhire, part of the Places for People Group, we are looking for a dedicated driver to join our team who will be involved in making the deliveries of our tool hire products to customers as well as join in with other duties outside of this task tobe a team player in the business.

**More about your role**

As our Apprentice Hire Services Driver, you'll develop the skills knowledge and behaviours to start your career with opportunities to see career progression into a Hire Controller upon completion of the programme. You'll study a Level 2 Hire Controller qualificationand access abespoke learning and development programme.

Day to day you will complete tasks to support the Hire Services team. This will include equipment selection and loading to maintenance.You can find out more on the attached job description.

As you develop in experience your role will become more challenging and varied. With more autonomy to take on tasks.

You'll benefit from support from the wider team, who have a proven record of developing graduates and apprenticeships with the chance to shadow qualified members of staff.

**More about you**

This is the ideal role for someone wanting to their first step into a career in the Hire Services Industry. You'll benefit from support from across Places for People including your team and the Early Careers People Team.

No previous experience is required, as you'll receive the qualifications and training you need to succeed. You'll have a passion for customer service, an eye for detail and ideally will have excellent driving skills.

You'll be able to motivate yourself and take constructive feedback well.A clear commitment to learning and self improvement is essential to success in this role.
