This small SME supply innovative and critical products to a buoyant industry and arelooking for an experienced safety professional who can ensure legislative compliance and upkeep safety across site.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

- Responsible for legislative compliance, development, implementation, and maintenance of the Health & Safety Management System
- Maintain the company Health, Safety & Environmental policies, and procedures
- Ensure that emergency preparedness and response plans are developed, documented, implemented and tested
- Ensure that effective medical, first aid, occupational health facilities, resources, equipment and consumables are provided and maintained
- Promote strong awareness and personal responsibility through maintaining high
visibility and employee engagement for Health & Safety across the business
- Conduct new employee HSE inductions and all required new start HSE training
- Ensure risk assessment procedures are in place, are monitored for effectiveness, and are regularly reviewed to ensure safe systems of work
- Conduct hazard, near miss, observation, and accident investigations to determine root cause and implement solutions to prevent future incidents and events
- Responsible for building obligations per lease and maintenance contracts. Co-ordinate and
manage external contractors, RAMS and Permit to Work procedures
- Supporting on the development of safety systems

- Experienced HSE professional with a background in engineering/manufacturing
- NEBOSH qualified with knowledge of safety systems
- Passionate about positive culture with strong communication skills
- Good legislative knowledge
