Are you a qualified Health and Safety professional? Are you looking to join a market-leading business where you are able to progress through the company?

The company hold a nationwide presence and specialise in the distribution of building products. They have a reputation for supplying the highest quality materials and have become the distributor of choice. They are in a period of high growth they are nowlooking to recruit a Health and Safety advisor.

In this role you will be a key member of the Health and Safety department and largely be based on site overseeing projects ensuring that the health and safety regulations are upheld but also implementing health and safety practice which will make thingssafer. You will be based at the company's head office just outside of Leeds with work carried out between office and various sites across the country. You will be responsible for supporting and guiding the branch, ensure day-to-day H&S standards are met andhelp manage key relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will need a NEBOSH certificate and be an exceptional communicator.

The Role:

- Upholding high-levels of health and safety standards and practice
- Carry out site inspections
- Travel required to various sites
- Represent the business at stakeholder meetings

The Person:

- NEBOSH certificate
- Ability to effectively communicate with people of all levels of seniority
- Full UK driving licence as travel will be required
