An exciting opportunity has arisen in Sefton Council to appoint a 36-hour permanent Ranger 2 role for maintenance at Southport Crematorium.

The role sits in the Green Sefton Service, within In House Operational Services based in Southport Crematorium.

As part of the team in this role you will be responsible for site maintenance including but not limited to grass cutting litter picking, pruning, memorial maintenance, seasonal maintenance throughout the year etc.. and ensuring that all work is undertaken to the highest standards in line with Sefton Council policies and Job Description related to this role.. As a Ranger 2 you will be tasked with ensuring site safety is always monitored and any issues reported to be resolved immediately.

This role also includes a requirement for basic machinery maintenance.

The Crematorium undertakes circa 1000 cremations per annum and provides a high-quality service to the bereaved.

This is an exciting time to join Green Sefton at Sefton as the service is now on a journey to become more digitally friendly and provide a more modern funeral service to the people of Sefton and surrounding areas.
