We were originally an events business, but now changing direction and transitioning into a content first, member network in order to help us grow our year round presence and reach into the biotech market. The VIP Relations Executive will help us grow our reachinto new biotech audiences, taking them through the customer value journey and turning them into brand advocates.
You will be confident, personable and self-motivated with a passion for building strong relationships. Curious, with a strong drive to meet targets consistently.
Key responsibilities:

- Meet or succeed yearly and monthly targets (revenue, and participation) by working with the Head of Marketing to implement a year-round strategy to develop relationships with new biotech, utilising our product suite to recommend solutions that meet objectivesand solves their pain points
- Work with Head of Marketing to devise and implement a strategic led VIP program for events
- Build new business accounts and grow and engage the database through prospecting efforts; sourcing contact details by leveraging data platforms i.e Zoom info, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.
- Feed new data into the biotech universe from your own research
- Develop a strong understanding of the competitor landscape and utilise these opportunities as a source of leads
- Work with Head of Community and Marketing Operations to expand key customer engagement through cross-selling
- Work closely with the event sponsors to maximise the participation of their clients in the event.
- Track registration and engagement across the brand from key customers and work with the Head of Marketing to produce contingency plans where necessary to meet target revenue and community development goals
- Meet and greet your clients onsite at the events, offering a best-in-class customer service experience at events and participating in networking/social program
- Own select key and new business accounts
- Send regular reports to the team
- Investigating and resolving any paint points or complaints that arise from key clients and escalating enquiries to the appropriate team, when necessary
- Assisting customers with registration or account creation
- Passing customer feedback onto the product or sales team to improve the organisation’s offerings
- Work with Marketing to manage customer service sheet in order to keep an accurate record of event participants

Knowledge, skills, attributes and behaviours:

- Excellent interpersonal skills and phone manner
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure and deliver to timescales.
- Hardworking and diligent.
- Proven ability to use initiative when required and to go 'above and beyond' in order to deliver excellent customer service.
- Experience in building relationships and working with C level executives
- Life science knowledge preferable
- Experience selling delegate places and account managing clients for B2B events in a high volume and fast paced environment
- Ability to generate business leads through primary and secondary research and to prioritise leads to maximise revenue generation by using initiative
- Highly personable with the ability to build positive client relationships
- Self-motivated and determined with a strong sense of personal accountability
- Innovative, and willing to challenge the way things have always been done
- Salesforce knowledge is preferable
