The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine is a world-leading centre for research and postgraduate education in public and global health. We are seeking to appoint a Senior Assistant Project Manager for business change to join the Project Management Office (PMO), reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager Business Change.
You will be expected to work independently and be part of the team’s continual development. This is a great opportunity to join a close-knit team that is responsible for delivering all of the organisations strategic business change projects and programmes whilst also benefitting from generous working terms and conditions and career development.
The primary focus of the role will be to manage and delivering strategic business change projects, by ensuring effective project plans are realised and risks, issues, budgets, quality, scope and internal communications are actively monitored and managed.
All PMO staff at times could become involved with other strategic projects, which offer opportunities to develop diverse skills and knowledge. The applicant should have project or technical exposure to corporate systems and an appreciation of the Higher Education landscape and its pressures.
