Are you looking to develop your skills in working in a range of clinical areas as part of an established, friendly and forward thinking team?

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Dietitian to join our busy acute adult team based at University Hospital Crosshouse. The team, comprising dietitians, dietetic assistant practitioners and dietetic support workers, work together to provide effective dietetic care to 21 in patient wards, working to national and local targets and drivers. You will have responsibility for the day to day management of your own caseload and will be supported to be a core contributor to the department’s shared caseload. By operating a partly shared team caseload we are able to offer excellent opportunities for clinical supervision and shadowing in a wide range of clinical areas. You will have the opportunity to work towards the completion of Flying Start and dependent on experience, take part in our practice placement programme supporting student practitioners on A,B and C placements

You should possess an honours degree/postgraduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Experience in acute dietetics would be an advantage. Evidence of competencies and skills required to deliver this post is essential e.g. excellent time management, organisational skills, self-motivation and good interpersonal skills.

Full driving license/car driver is essential.

**Hours**: 37.5 per week.
