Our clients being a Third Party Administrators Claims company based in Essex is looking to expand and hire a Commercial Property Claims Handler. They are a growing company providing professional claims services to the insurance industry including Lloyd'sand Company carriers, Coverholders/MGAs and London Market brokers

They are looking for an experienced claims handler to handle Commercial Property claims on a delegated authority basis and to assist in other lines of business such as Personal Accident and Travel. This is predominantly UK, but could potentially includeother territories worldwide

There is training provided on the market leading claims handling system Advantage and other appropriate client systems

Set up new claims on system and send out claim acknowledgements to claimants/insureds.

Gather information from relevant sources

Appoint third party experts such as loss adjusters, if necessary, and where appointed manage their assignment, set budgets and review their work against agreed SLAs.

Investigating questionable claims and looking out for signs of fraudulent activities

Pursuing recoveries, subrogation or contribution

Prioritisation of work and ensure that all work is completed in a timely manner

Providing technical input and oversight on complex matters (Including referrals from underwriters

Handling claim complains/re-assessment of denials

Assisting with policy wording changes (writing exclusions/conditions)

Meeting client SLAs, Keeping up to date with compliance requirements,

Ensure compliance with relevant policies, systems, standards, reporting requirements

Communicate effectively with clients, claimants and colleagues

Help train new starters/assisting with more complex claims

Knowledge of London Market systems such as ECF is essential.
