Mary Seacole Housing Association Limited provides accommodation to single homeless people between the ages of 16 - 65.

**Purpose of post**:
Duties include completing maintenance and repairs throughout MSHA-owned, managed and leased properties; as well as carrying out some upkeep of the grounds and general decoration.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Carry out preventative maintenance and routine scheduling servicing in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.
- Deal with machine breakdowns and effect repairs to ensure minimum downtime.
- Troubleshoot and fault find any defects on machines and carry out o Repairs as necessary.
- Small amounts of fabrication work may be needed from time to time.
- Sourcing required parts in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Management of maintenance & repair sub-contractors (as and when required)
- General labouring and housekeeping duties
- Ensure work is carried out to the highest standard and in the interest of the company.
- Carry out other reasonable requests made by the line manager to support departmental or company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with the Company’s policies including Health & Safety are complied with.
- Observe and comply with all good working practices.
