This is a great opportunity for an experienced and skilled specialist dietician to offer and develop dietetic provision within Nottinghamshire Community CAMHS teams. The post holder will work clinically across the Community CAMHS teams that cover Nottinghamshire (Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark, Sherwood, Bassetlaw, Nottingham South and City).

Within Specialist Community CAMHS teams, this new and exciting role will involve scoping and establishing dietetic provision to young people accessing CAMHS with a variety of unmet nutritional needs. You will be joining a wider network of dieticians working across CAMHS in-patients, Mental Health, Learning Disability & Forensic settings within the Trust.

The post holder will work as a fully autonomous practitioner whilst working in collaboration and having the support of the MDT. You will work across CAMHS teams to ensure continuity and consistency of dietetic care for Children & Young people with a range of difficulties and disorders relating to eating. This will involve providing nutritional and dietetic information, clinical advice and therapeutic support to CYP & their families/carers accessing CAMHS. A key component of the role will also be offering consultation, training, liaison and advice to colleagues and the wider network.

You will be supported by the Trust's dietetic professional lead and other specialist eating disorder dietetic peers within the service.

A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.

Providing nutritional and dietetic assessment, information, clinical advice and therapeutic support and treatment to children and families accessing Community CAMHS teams who have difficulties relating to their eating.

To scope dietetic need and provision within CAMHS, taking a leading role in establishing referral pathways and contributing to business plans aimed at addressing unmet nutritional needs within CAMHS

To act as a resource to professionals involved in the care of CYP accessing CAMHS who have difficulties with eating, to ensure nutritional needs are identified and met

To offer training, supervision and consultation to the MDT regarding dietetics and nutrition

To facilitate effective transitions and appropriate care for CYP accessing CAMHS with difficulties relating to eating and nutrition.

To promote an innovative and progressive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care through research, audit, evidence-based practice and contribution to ongoing service development.
