**Junior Client Accounts Assistant**:
We are currently looking to recruit a proactive and ambitious individual to join our rural client accounting team based in Shrewsbury as a Junior Client Accounts Assistant. This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to develop a career within client accounting. Our rural client accounting team provide accounting services to a large and diverse portfolio of landlords. The post holder will help to ensure the delivery of the highest level of service to internal and external stakeholders.

**MAIN TASKS**:

- Assisting with the daily receipt processing and payment routines
- Inputting supplier invoices
- Processing deposit return forms
- Demand and collection of other income
- Carrying out all administrative and ad hoc duties in connection with the role
- Ensuring systems are updated on a timely and accurate basis to enable other departments within the organisation to work effectively
- Supporting other members of the client accounting team and providing cover in periods of absence of other team members

**WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL?**

To be successful in this role, you will have strong administration skills, a good eye for numbers and, in particular, high attention to detail. You will have sound interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate accounts issues to non-accounting people. Ideally, you will have gained some prior experience in a similar role and will have good working knowledge of IT systems and Microsoft Office packages.
