We're looking to expand our team for our new clinic based in the Grange, Edinburgh

**We are**

a rapidly expanding, new business with a busy patient base and highly skill clinicians. We currently offer Chiropractic Care, Sports Massage and Physiotherapy. We are open Monday-Saturday. We aim to protect the energy of our staff and our work patterns reflect this.

**What are the work hours?**
- This role is 5 hours on a Saturday (8.30am-1.30pm), 2 hours on Wednesday (5.30pm - 7.30pm), with potential to increase hours during the week & flexibility for cover shifts
- The clinic is open Monday - Saturday.
- This is done in a shift pattern of AM/ PM shifts.
- Shift patterns are set, but flexibility is required to assist with covering a colleague's holidays (we all like a holiday).

**What is the purpose of a Clinical Assistant (CA)?**
- To provide support to the clinicians & other team members, whilst coordinating with the other CA’s to ensure smooth running of the day.
- To provide an excellent, client focused experience, ensuring diary management, effective daily running of the clinic, and perform various administrative tasks in a timely manner.

**What will you be doing?**
- Running front desk operations, including all aspects of diary management: booking and amending client appointments, taking client payment, and solving any general client queries.
- Taking responsibility for ensuring the accurate running of everyday tasks within the clinic, to ensure all daily tasks are completed accurately and within a timely manner.
- Making lead calls and taking payment over the phone.
- Providing an excellent, patient focused, unique experience.
- Participating in regular training of policies and procedures as well as attending team meetings and quarterlies (which are fun) at least once per month.
- Providing support to all clinicians and carrying out requests as instructed, as well as providing support within the CA team, and effectively communicating daily information.
- Attending educational conferences and workshops when required to do so (we like team development).
- Undertaking other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required, and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job.

- You should have the ability to communicate at a high level, be a team player, and develop and maintain internal and external relationships.
- You should be able to understand and promote a healthy and wellness-based lifestyle, with a high energy approach.
- You must be able to read, speak and write fluently in English - please note an excellent phone manner is required.
- You must be well presented and approachable.
- Ideally, a background in offering unique customer service and/or experience with booking software.
- The role would likely suit someone with a sports/fitness or performing background.
