The relocation package is for anyone joining the Trust in a Clinical role who would need to relocate in order to take up employment with Cheshire and Wirral Partnership.

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a motivated professional with a clinical background (Nursing or Allied Health), to work with the Cheshire Intensive Support Function (ISF). The ISF covers the Cheshire footprint, working with children and young people aged 5-18 with a diagnosis of
Learning Disabilities and/or Autism, whose complex behavioural needs challenge their support system to the extent that there is a risk of placement breakdown/hospital admission, and the clinical
input required is above and beyond what LD CAMHS or CAMHS services are able to offer.

The clinical practice of the ISF is underpinned by the Values, Theory and Processes of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), a multicomponent framework that aims to establish effective and ethical support for people who present with Behaviours of Concern.

The successful applicant will be responsible for enhancing the support that is already provided by involved services, with the key aims being contribution to identification and management of risk, multiagency planning, training and psychoeducation, as well as delivering highly specialist assessment and intervention, including development of PBS plans. The post holder will also be responsible for the supervision of junior team members.

The post holder will also play a key role in promoting and supporting colleagues with understanding and adopting the values and principles of PBS.

Regular access to support and training opportunities will be provided, as well as the opportunity to work towards a PBS qualification

All new clinical support staff will be required to have completed or working towards the Care Certificate (CWP In-house 2 day training to be completed within 6 months of start date).

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. A small annual fee of £13 per year applies.

New entrants to the NHS will commence on the minimum of the scale stated above.
