Boiler Room started with a webcam taped to a wall, broadcasting from a warehouse in London, opening a keyhole to the city's underground. DIY at it's finest; raw uncut and homemade.

As an independent music platform and cultural curator, we remain true to that history. Connecting club culture to the wider world, on screen and irl through parties, film and video.Since 2010 we built a unique archive; featuring over 4,000 performance, by more than 5,000 artists spanning 150 cities, enabling everyone regardless of where they live to enjoy the freedom it stands for.

Our remit is to platform music in new ways - sound on for the voices and stories of the fringes of the mainstream.

**YOUR ROLE**

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to support the Head of Finance, assisting the business with the management of its accounts payable function, ensuring the running of an accurate and seamless internal accounting function for Boiler Room. We are looking for an ambitious individual who is early in their career within the Finance world and ready to learn and develop alongside our Head of Finance - someone who has experience with 360 purchase leisure processes and AAT qualified and/or an early student of ACCA would be ideal.
- Set-up of new supplier/customer accounts and project codes (as instructed) in Netsuite accounting system
- Review and processing of all purchase invoices and credit card costs into the Netsuite accounting system
- Coordination of the weekly supplier payment run, staff expenses, staff advances and efficiently managing and prioritising any approved urgent payment requests
- Attending to all supplier queries around payments on a timely basis
- Reconciliation of supplier statements for all regular suppliers
- Creation and distribution of client invoices (as instructed) via the Netsuite accounting system, ensuring all relevant vendor and compliance forms are completed and delivered where required
- Creation and distribution of monthly client statements
- Review of staff expenses ahead of submission to Netsuite accounting system
- Daily reconciliation of all company bank accounts, ensuring all bank items are recorded in the Netsuite accounting system
- Allocation of monthly marketing costs (Google, Facebook etc.) to relevant departments and projects
- Creation and distribution of department and project cost reports on request
- Monthly update of Fixed Asset register, as part of the company month-end process
- Assisting the Boiler Room team with credit control, ensuring outstanding client invoices are remitted in a timely manner
- Coordinating the process of all company credit card spend and reconciling the account on a monthly basis
- Coordination of all company subscriptions and payments, ensuring retrieval of all invoices/receipts for any auto payments and direct debits

**WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
- Ideally AAT qualified or an early student of ACCA. We are also happy to chat with individuals who have a relevant University degree
- An individual who has experience in a business that operates the same way as Boiler Room (creative agencies, events, pay production studios etc)
- Must have a high level of attention to detail and great organisational skills
- Ability to work in a small but mighty team of two within the Finance function and in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of Excel and strong numerical skills is a must
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience using Netsuite or another similar system required
