Your new company You will be joining a prominent international law firm that has been established for over 125 years as an accounts assistant on a 12-month FTC. Looking for an immediately available candidate with a minimum of 2 years direct experience, ideally within a law firm. Your new role You will be joining the busy management and financial accounting team as their financial accounting assistant. Maintenance of fixed assets, leasehold and cars registers Maintenance of Xcelerate reporting system Running and reconciling Xcelerate reports, including P&L Maintenance of 3E master files (GL) Balance sheet reconciliations Management of prepayments Processing journals and adjustments to the general ledger Production of covenants P&L reports UK & Swiss VAT Return Support of major functions held within the team: management accounts, statutory accounts, audit, cash flow, banking arrangements Assist with various 3E projects, including review of aged balances Assist with expense system Chrome River What you'll need to succeed You will be an enthusiastic individual who is an excellent communicator, with a high attention to detail. A minimum of 2 years experience working within a law firm is preferable. You will have the ability to manage high volumes of competing deliveries and knowledge of Solicitors Accounting Rules (SARs).
