Material Controller required for a well-recognised global manufacturer who offer long term contracts with the potential to acquire a permanent position. They are well established and supply to a range of industries. They offer a great team environment, training and progression opportunities.
Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for stock inventory control, movement of stock, processing purchased materials, signing for goods in and goods out and logging movement of goods using a computerised system. You will liaise with buyers and supply chain to control project material availability and maintain delivery schedules. You will also liaise with engineering and production departments to generate Bill of Materials and ensure delivery schedule is maintained.

The role:
- Accurately maintain the stores stock by data entry
- Perform daily cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy
- Process daily stock reports
- Investigate and report any stock losses
- Provide support to other departments in the movement of material when required
- Generate Bill of Materials
- Operate ERP system
The person:
- Will ideally have previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Will ideally have previous stores experience
- Applicants with previous SAP experience will have a considerable advantage
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 36 months
**Salary**: £11.00-£12.00 per hour
