Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our customer service engineering team in the Leicester area. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for visiting client sites to perform servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a wide range of Jungheinrich material handling equipment and forklift trucks.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on Jungheinrich equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Manage and control parts stock to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Complete service reports and timesheets to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with experience in a customer-facing environment.Previous experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results and excellent customer service.A full driving license and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.What We Offer
