**Title**:Children and Young People’s Counsellor

**Salary**:Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, Aligned with AFC Band 6 (Range £33,706 to £40,588 + enhancements, pro rata)

**Hours/Contract**:Part time - 22.5 hours

**Contract Type**:Permanent

**Based**:Newcastle Hospice

As a post holder you will need to provide a flexible counselling service to children and young people facing grief and loss and provide support and advice to patients and carers in order that they feel able to support children and young people in their family. You will be working alongside the Bereavement Coordinator to support the existing Bereavement Service.

**What we are looking for**:

- Degree/ Diploma in Child Counselling
- Member of BACP.
- Significant post-qualification experience
- Excellent organisational skills
