Position Summary

Magellan Aerospace, Llay Wrexham has an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Specialist.

Full Time Permanent Contract

39 hours per week.

**Job location**: Llay, Wrexham, LL12 0PB.

Unionised site - works in partnership with Unite the Union.

Responsible for supporting, guiding and implementing the full cycle of the recruitment process for designated regions.

Essential Responsibilities

Supports and guides recruitment activities for roles at all levels of the organisation, and ensures that the recruitment procedures are followed.

Act as the main point of contact for co-ordination of recruitment activities for designated regions and from time to time working to support recruitment elsewhere as required.

Organise/co-ordinate/communicate between all parties involved in the hiring process

Work directly with hiring managers to identify staffing requirements and specific position objectives, as well as to ensure compliance with all local laws and regulation

Working with Division Managers to ensure recruitment is within agreed headcount, maintaining an up-to-date record of headcount and vacancies by site and by job role.

Track recruitment activities and monitor progress, whilst maintaining a complete record of recruitment-related information in the applicant tracking system, PCR, and other internal databases and spreadsheets.

Measure and report on recruiting metrics such as source of hire and time to fill, and bring changes and trends in recruitment activities/progress to the attention of the HR Management team.

Prepare and post job descriptions/advertisements in PCR as well as to career websites, newspapers, online job boards, Linkedin, university boards, etc. as appropriate.

Schedule interviews, assist hiring managers with interview preparation, and identify Hiring Managers requiring skills development to conduct interviews.

Make recommendations for hire (or not hire) and/or assists in the selection process when appropriate.

Develop and maintain knowledge around best practice recruitment processes and associated legislation to protect the company and ensure fairness throughout process.

Process recruitment invoices using SAP.

Seek innovative ways to attract and recruit to fulfil business need.

Maintain and present information on recruitment trends.

Attend networking events, job fairs, and other recruitment and/or career events.

Position Requirements

**Academic**:
Minimum GCSE’s in Maths and English

Working towards or prepared to work towards CIPD qualification up to Level 5

**Experience**:
Experience in recruitment/talent sourcing

Familiar with social media platforms, professional sites and resume databases

**Key Competencies**:
Good administrative, time management and multi-tasking skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong IT skills

Some knowledge of relevant employment legislation associated with recruitment

Other skills/Abilities
