**Job Type**:Permanent, full time. Monday-Friday 40 hours per week

**Salary**:£22,672 - £29,556 (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Our beautiful 120 place Fleet Day Nursery is located at The Key and is in a great location commuting from London. Situated in a purpose-built building and located on a beautiful new estate, where the children often visit the nature reserve and enjoy trips to the local parks

It has great transport link via South Western Rail in to Fleet Station and on bus routes 7, 65X, 409 & 7 tiger.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education
- Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas
- Deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, to help all children to develop and meet their individual milestones
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each child
- Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times
- Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day to day basis

**What we’re looking for**
- Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting (ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator or similar)
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
- Ability to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adults
