Pharmacy Assistant

Fairbrother Pharmacy is a family-owned independent pharmacy in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. We are a large and busy pharmacy, currently 2nd largest in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough. We are a very friendly and knowledgeable team, always happy to help each other out. We dispense a range of prescriptions and deliver a variety of services - no two days are the same here

Working hours are _Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm_. Saturday availability (9am - 1pm) would be ideal, though not essential.
- Willing and eager to help our patients, going above and beyond every time
- Qualified to at least NQV2 in Pharmacy Services
- Proficient in English and Maths
- Have a good customer service manner - both over the telephone and in person
- Able to multitask and find their feet in a very fast paced environment
- A keen problem solver
- Fantastic working as both part of a team and on their own with little to no guidance
- Have at least 12 months experience of working in a pharmacy environment
- Know and understand their professional limitations

Duties include (but are not limited to):

- Accurately processing prescriptions from start to finish
- Stock management
- Ordering prescriptions for patients in a timely manner
- Dispensing a variety of compliance aids
- Serving customers on the front counter - offering advice and sign-posting where required
- Answering telephone queries

Our holiday allowance is 28 days including bank holidays.
