**Job Details - Receptionist/Administrator**
**Overview**:
You will be responsible for the effective management of enquiries and general administration
in the home.
**Reporting to**:
Home Manager
**What the job involves**:
- Responding to customer enquiries in a friendly and effective manner, making sure electronic
records are maintained.
- Maintaining accurate and complete records for residents and staff members confidentially in
line with the company’s policies and procedures, making sure electronic records are
maintained.
Dealing with telephone calls effectively from doctors, social workers, residents’ family
members and professionals.
Communicating with residents in a friendly and appropriate manner..
Providing administration support to the Home Manager and any other duties required.
**Dealing with residents personal funds**
**Dealing with petty cash**
**Dealing with staff timesheets**
**What we are looking for**:
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Knowledge/Experience of MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook and good it IT skills across a range of platforms and software packages
confident ad positive communication skills
Professional telephone manner
Strong, Practical and organisational skills
Honest ,trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality Reliable and punctual
Able to work under pressure and self direct
Genuine interest in working with a caring environment
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: From £12.80 per hour
