Utopian Professional Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with an established city centre based IFA who are looking for a strong and experienced IFA Administrator to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

The purpose of this role will be to provide support to one of the Financial Advisers whilst ensuring all pension, investment, and retirement planning work is completed in a proactive and efficient manner.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- First point of contact for clients
- Arranging client meetings and preparing meeting packs
- Processing and monitoring of business (new and existing)
- Ensuring financial transactions are completed correctly and files are fully FCA compliant
- Managing pipeline business
- Diary management
- Obtaining and interpreting information from providers and fund managers
- Developing and maintaining client contact and relationships
- Liaising with product providers to collate pension and investment information
- Maintenance of client files and records on their system
- Communicating with clients in the absence of the adviser
- Providing any additional support to the wider team when required

**To be considered for this opportunity, our client does require the following background / experience**:

- Background working within an IFA or Wealth Management organisation
- Strong understanding and knowledge of Pensions and Investments
- Good knowledge of a wide range of provider platforms
- Proactive, confident and the ability to make independent decisions
- Strong administrative skills
- Highly organised with the ability to juggle a variety of tasks and work to deadlines
- Comfortable working as part of a small team
- Proactive, efficient and hardworking
- Good knowledge of Pensions and Investments
- Strong MS Skills

**Benefits**
- This is a full time, permanent opportunity working Monday to Friday, however 4 days per week would be considered
- Salary £25-32k per annum depending on experience
