**Job Title**:Export Control Officer

**Location**:Warton

**Salary**:£47,683+ dependent of skills and experience

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Provide day to day SME Advice and guidance on export control related queries, regulatory and procedural requirements
- Understand key programme deliverables of the respective export licensing requirements, making sense of the export control and licencing challenges, establishing the facts and putting in place solutions that enables timely delivery and protects our future business
- Ensuring Export Control and Licensing Management Plans are produced, implemented, maintained and regularly reviewed with key programme stakeholders
- Supporting the implementation and management of the export control governance in AIR including, risk identification and management, audit and assurance and timely investigation and reporting
- Growing and sustaining productive relationships with a broad stakeholder group which could include project teams, customers, suppliers and government regulators

**Your skills and experiences**:

- Working knowledge of export control regulations, business processes & procedures gained through experience in an aerospace environment would be an advantage
- Analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex regulations
- Current Knowledge on National and International Export Control laws and regulations
- Ability to work with limited supervision in a dynamic, complex working environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
